About the Band
Black metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Common traits include fast tempos, a shrieking vocal style, heavily distorted guitars played with tremolo picking, raw (lo-fi) recording, unconventional song structures, and an emphasis on atmosphere. Artists often appear in corpse paint and adopt pseudonyms. Venom initiated the "first wave" of black metal, with their 1982 album Black Metal giving it its name. In the following years, the style was developed by Bathory, Mercyful Fate, Hellhammer and Celtic Frost.

Album Review
The Wild Horde's latest album, 'Bloody West', is a unique blend of black metal and country influences that creates a dark and haunting atmosphere throughout. The production quality is top-notch, with each instrument and vocal line coming through clearly and powerfully. Standout tracks include the intense opener 'The Gallows wait for us', the epic title track 'Bloody West', and the haunting 'The Mothman'. This album marks a bold step forward in the band's career, showcasing their ability to experiment with different genres while still maintaining their signature sound and intensity.
