Album Review
Megadeth's third studio album, 'So Far, So Good⦠So What!', is a relentless display of power and aggression that solidifies their status as one of the pioneers of thrash metal. The raw energy and intensity of tracks like 'Set the World Afire' and 'Hook in Mouth' are complemented by the intricate guitar work and Dave Mustaine's biting lyrics. The production quality adds a gritty edge to the sound, enhancing the overall rebellious and defiant atmosphere of the album. Standout tracks like 'In My Darkest Hour' showcase a more melodic side to the band while still maintaining their signature ferocity. 'So Far, So Good⦠So What!' marks a crucial point in Megadeth's career, showcasing their evolution and growth as musicians while staying true to their thrash roots.
