A History of Visceral Evisceration

In 1994, Visceral Evisceration unleashed their magnum opus, 'Incessant Desire for Palatable Flesh', upon the world through Napalm Records. The album featured a mesmerizing mix of female operatic vocals, male grunts, and clear vocals, backed by doom-laden riffs and death metal intensity. The band's lyrical content, often gory and obscene, added an extra layer of darkness to their already sinister sound.

After the release of 'Incessant Desire for Palatable Flesh', Visceral Evisceration made a bold move by leaving Napalm Records and changing their name to As I Lay Dying. In 1995, they released a promo under their new moniker before ultimately disbanding. Despite their short-lived career, the impact of Visceral Evisceration's music continues to resonate with metal fans around the world.
