The inaugural Rock Hard Festival Greece is set to take place in Athens on September 12 and 13, 2025, featuring a special performance by Candlemass with former vocalist Messiah Marcolin, marking his return to the stage after more than two decades.
The festival organizers have now unveiled the final lineup for the event, which includes the iconic Swedish heavy metal band HammerFall as the headliners. Known for their thunderous anthems and classic hits like “Hearts On Fire” and “Let The Hammer Fall,” HammerFall’s performance promises to be a highlight of the festival.
Since their debut in 1997, HammerFall has been a driving force in the heavy metal scene, reviving the spirit of traditional metal with their soaring melodies and anthemic choruses. With a discography that includes acclaimed albums like Legacy Of Kings and Avenge The Fallen, the band continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
Another standout act joining the festival is Heavens Gate, making a rare appearance after nearly 25 years. Known for their powerful and melodic metal sound, Heavens Gate will be performing classic hits from their albums like “In Control” and “Hell For Sale,” delighting fans with a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Adding a modern twist to the lineup is the all-female heavy metal sensation Cobra Spell, set to make their Greek debut with their energetic sleaze rock anthems. With their debut album “666” receiving critical acclaim, Cobra Spell’s performance promises to be a high-octane showcase of their 80s-inspired metallic rock sound.
Rounding out the lineup is Ganzi Gun, bringing their dynamic American heavy rock sound to the festival stage. With a repertoire that includes tracks like “Aggressive Response,” Ganzi Gun is set to deliver a captivating performance filled with energy and intensity, showcasing their prowess in the Greek hard rock scene.
These four new additions join the previously announced artists, including Candlemass, Overkill, and Gus G. & Friends, among others. With a limited number of tickets available, fans have the opportunity to witness this historic event that celebrates the diversity and power of heavy metal music.
