Bay Area metal quartet Hell Fire, founded in 2010 by guitarist Tony Campos and bassist Herman Bandala, evolved from covering Iron Maiden and Metallica to crafting original tunes, leading to the release of their debut album Metal Masses in 2016. Their second album, Free Again, showcased refined songwriting and arrangements, propelling them to sign with Riding Easy Records and release Mania in 2019.
Despite pandemic challenges, Hell Fire continued to thrive, releasing their fourth album Reckoning in 2022. Their upcoming performance at Thee Parkside in San Francisco features Tanith, led by veteran guitarist Russ Tippins, known for his work with British metal band Satan. Tanith’s melodic hard rock style draws inspiration from bands like Blue Öyster Cult and Uriah Heep, earning acclaim for their recent album Voyage.
Joining the lineup is Fresno-based Haunt, spearheaded by guitarist Trevor William Church, son of rock icon Bill Church. Haunt’s classic metal sound has garnered attention, with numerous releases and live performances solidifying their place in the metal scene. Their latest album Dreamers showcases Church’s songwriting prowess and musical talent.
The collaboration of Hell Fire, Tanith, and Haunt promises a high-octane evening of metal at Thee Parkside, uniting metal enthusiasts for a night of powerful performances and dynamic soundscapes. The event underscores the enduring appeal and diversity within the metal genre, showcasing the evolution and innovation of contemporary metal bands.
