About the Band

Stud is an English/Northern Irish rock band from the early 1970s, that featured two members of Taste – bassist Charlie McCracken and drummer John Wilson – along with former Family and Eric Burdon & the Animals member – guitarist John Weider – and ex Blossom Toes member Jim Cregan. Never a very commercially successful band, Stud had its biggest successes in Germany.

Album Review

STUD's latest album 'Under Silver Sky' is a powerful display of their prowess in the heavy metal genre. The band's signature sound is at its peak on this record, with blistering guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and soaring vocals creating a headbanging experience from start to finish. Standout tracks like 'Spell of Emotion' showcase the band's ability to blend melody with aggression, while 'Under Silver Sky' delivers an anthemic chorus that will have fans singing along. The production quality on the album is top-notch, with every instrument shining through clearly and adding to the overall impact of each song. 'Under Silver Sky' fits seamlessly into STUD's career, solidifying their place as one of the leading forces in modern heavy metal.
