About the Band

Stud is an English/Northern Irish rock band from the early 1970s, that featured two members of Taste – bassist Charlie McCracken and drummer John Wilson – along with former Family and Eric Burdon & the Animals member – guitarist John Weider – and ex Blossom Toes member Jim Cregan. Never a very commercially successful band, Stud had its biggest successes in Germany.

Album Review

STUD's latest album, 'Under Silver Sky,' is a powerful display of their classic heavy metal sound combined with a modern twist. The album showcases the band's signature aggressive riffs and intense vocals, creating a dark and atmospheric listening experience. Standout tracks like 'Spell of Emotion' and 'Under Silver Sky' perfectly capture the band's ability to blend melodic hooks with relentless energy. The production quality is top-notch, with each instrument cutting through the mix with precision. 'Under Silver Sky' solidifies STUD's place in the heavy metal scene, showing their growth while staying true to their roots.
