About the Band
Nanowar of Steel (stylised as NanowaR of Steel by the band) is an Italian comedy heavy metal band. Their name is a pun on the metal bands Manowar and Rhapsody of Fire, and represents their tendency to satirize "true metal", the primary focus of their music. Their work mainly aims to make humorous references to and jokes about the genre, often parodying the way in which power metal bands are perceived to take themselves very seriously. In 2006, the band changed their name from Nanowar to Nanowar of Steel, as a parody of the Italian power metal band Rhapsody changing their name to Rhapsody of Fire after a legal dispute. On their logo, the "of Steel" part was made to look like it was quickly and carelessly scribbled behind the main name as an afterthought.

Album Review
Nanowar of Steel celebrates two decades of metal madness with their latest album 'XX Years of Steel'. This eclectic masterpiece showcases the band's signature blend of folk metal, hard rock, and heavy metal, delivering a rollercoaster of energy and entertainment. From the anthemic chants in 'Tricycles of Steel' to the infectious grooves of 'Disco Metal', each track is a wild ride through the realms of Nanowar's imagination. The production quality is top-notch, capturing the raw power and playful spirit of the band. Standout tracks like 'V per Viennetta' and 'Barbie, MILF Princess of the Twilight' exemplify Nanowar's ability to seamlessly blend humor with musical prowess. 'XX Years of Steel' solidifies Nanowar of Steel's place as one of the most innovative and entertaining bands in the metal scene, showcasing their evolution over the years while staying true to their roots.
