About the Band

Metallica is an American heavy metal band. It was formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, and has been based in San Francisco for most of its career. The band's fast tempos, instrumentals and aggressive musicianship made them one of the founding "big four" bands of thrash metal, alongside Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer. Metallica's current lineup comprises founding members and primary songwriters Hetfield and Ulrich, longtime lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, and bassist Robert Trujillo.

Album Review

Metallica's 'Hardwired... to Self-Destruct' is a triumphant return to form for the legendary heavy metal band. The album captures the raw energy and aggression that made Metallica famous, while also showcasing their maturity and evolution as musicians. Standout tracks like 'Moth Into Flame' and 'Spit Out the Bone' are instant classics, with blistering riffs and powerful vocals that will have fans headbanging from start to finish. The production quality is top-notch, with each instrument shining through in the mix, creating a full and dynamic sound. Overall, 'Hardwired... to Self-Destruct' is a must-listen for any Metallica fan, and solidifies their place as one of the greatest metal bands of all time.
