A History of Venturia (band)

Formation and Debut Album (2000–2006)

Venturia emerged from the depths of France in the year 2000, when guitarist Charly Sahona and drummer Diego Rapacchietti joined forces to create a progressive metal powerhouse. With the addition of bass player Thomas James, the band recorded a demo that caught the attention of labels. Despite a setback with the departure of their original singer, Venturia pressed on and recruited male vocalist Marc Ferreira and female vocalist Lydie Robin.

In 2004, Venturia began recording their debut album, 'The New Kingdom,' a blend of aggressive riffs and melodic vocal duets. With the help of keyboardist Kevin Codfert, the album was completed in 2005 and released to critical acclaim in 2006 through Lion Music.

Rise to Prominence and Sophomore Effort (2006–2007)

Following the success of their debut album, Venturia signed a management deal with Intromental and continued to captivate audiences with their unique sound. The band was invited to record a live show for Swiss Television, showcasing their dynamic performances. In late 2007, Venturia ventured back into the studio to work on their sophomore effort, 'Hybrid,' which was recorded in Switzerland and mixed by Kevin Codfert.

Continued Evolution and Musical Exploration (2008–present)

Venturia's journey did not end with 'Hybrid'; the band continued to push boundaries and explore new sounds. With each release, they captivated audiences with their intricate compositions and powerful performances.
