A History of Transit Method

Formation and Early Years (1981–1986)

Transit Method was born in the fiery depths of metal in 1981, when Thomas Lee Bass co-founded the band Mötley Crüe. As the drummer of this iconic heavy metal group, Lee helped shape the sound and image of the band during their early years.

In 1986, Lee decided to expand his musical horizons and founded the rap metal band Methods of Mayhem. This marked a new chapter in his musical journey, showcasing his versatility and willingness to experiment with different genres.
