Formation and Rise to Stardom (2013–2016)

GEM, an acronym for 'Girls Entertainment Mixture,' burst onto the Japanese idol girl group scene in 2013 as part of the Idol Street project under Avex Trax. With their infectious energy and catchy tunes, GEM quickly captured the hearts of fans everywhere.

Over the next few years, GEM solidified their place in the industry, releasing hit singles and captivating audiences with their electrifying performances. Their unique blend of pop sensibilities and idol charm set them apart from the rest, propelling them to stardom within the Japanese music scene.

Disbandment and Transition (2017–2018)

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. In 2018, GEM announced their disbandment, leaving fans devastated. However, the legacy of GEM lives on as the remaining members were transferred to other iDOL Street groups, ensuring that their spirit and talent continue to shine in the world of J-pop.
