With founding members Eric Peterson, Chuck Billy, Alex Skolnick, Steve Di Giorgio, and Chris Dovas, the band set out to make their mark on the metal world. Rise to Prominence (1987–1994)

Despite lineup changes that saw the departure of key members like Louie Clemente and Alex Skolnick, Testament persevered through the late 90s and early 2000s. The band's reunion with Steve Souza, Alex Skolnick, and John Tempesta for 'First Strike Still Deadly' in 2001 marked a triumphant return. After overcoming challenges, including Chuck Billy's battle with cancer, Testament's resilience shone through with albums like 'The Formation of Damnation' (2008) and 'Dark Roots of Earth' (2012).

Modern Era and Continued Success (2008–2025)

With a renewed sense of purpose, Testament surged forward into the modern metal landscape. Albums like 'Brotherhood of the Snake' (2016) and 'Titans of Creation' (2020) showcased their unwavering commitment to their craft. Testament's latest offering, 'Para Bellum,' released in 2025, continues to captivate audiences with their signature blend of aggression and melody.
