A History of Solbrud

Inception and Early Performances (2010–2011)

Solbrud emerged onto the Danish heavy metal scene in 2010, showcasing their raw and intense sound at the Copenhell festival. With two stages to choose from, the band delivered their powerful performance on the main stage Helviti, captivating the audience with their dark and atmospheric music. The following year, Solbrud continued to make waves in the underground metal scene, earning a spot on the Upcoming Stage, which later became known as Pandæmonium.

Rise to Prominence and Stage Upgrades (2012–2019)

As Solbrud's reputation grew, so did their stage presence at Copenhell. In 2012, the band's haunting melodies and intense energy earned them a place on the Pandæmonium stage, where they continued to impress fans and critics alike. By 2019, Solbrud's music had evolved, leading to a well-deserved upgrade to the mid-size bands on the Pandæmonium stage, as well as the addition of a new stage called Gehenna, showcasing the band's versatility and expanding fan base.
