Formation and Early Years (2011–2012)

Seeds of Iblis emerged from the depths of Iraq's underground black metal scene in 2011, spearheaded by the enigmatic Anahita, known for her work in Janaza. The band's anti-Islamic themes and provocative lyrics immediately set them apart, challenging the status quo of the genre.

Despite facing skepticism and accusations of being a hoax due to fake band photos, Seeds of Iblis persevered and released their first EP, 'Jihad Against Islam,' via Armée de la Mort in 2011. This marked the beginning of a daring musical journey that would shake the foundations of black metal.

Rise to Controversy (2013–2013)

In 2013, Seeds of Iblis unleashed their debut album, 'Anti Quran Rituals,' under Unmerciful Death Productions, solidifying their reputation as a band unafraid to push boundaries. The album's relentless assault of anti-religious fervor and blistering black metal riffs captivated audiences worldwide.

With the release of the EP 'The Black Quran' via Hammer of Hate in the same year, the band continued to stir controversy and intrigue within the metal community. Seeds of Iblis were not just a band – they were a bold statement against conformity and censorship.

Years of Silence and Resurgence (2013–2020)

Following a seven-year hiatus, Seeds of Iblis returned with a vengeance in 2020, unleashing their second album, 'Morbid Muhammad,' via Pest Productions. The album delved deeper into their anti-Islamic themes, exploring the darker aspects of religious dogma with unrelenting ferocity.

With 'Morbid Muhammad,' Seeds of Iblis proved that their message and music were as potent as ever, cementing their status as one of the most controversial and uncompromising bands in the black metal scene.
