Formation and Early Years (1999–2008)

Sebastien, hailing from the Czech Republic, traces its roots back to February 1999 when the band first emerged under the name Calypso. After a name change to Navar, they released their debut studio album 'Dark' in 2001, followed by 'Commotion'. The band went on to record the EP 'Proti všem' in 2004 and the album '1621' in 2006.

In 2008, two members departed from the group, leading to a reformation with the core members Jiří Rain and Andy Mons. This marked the birth of Sebastien, a new chapter in the band's journey towards power metal greatness.

Rise to Prominence and Major Releases (2009–2015)

In November 2009, Sebastien entered Grapow Studios to record their highly anticipated album 'Tears of White Roses', released in 2010 via Escape Music. The album featured guest musicians such as Amanda Somerville, Doogie White, and Fabio Lione, showcasing the band's evolution.

The following years saw Sebastien's live debut tour in 2011 and a standout performance at the Masters of Rock festival in 2012. With the release of 'Dark Chambers of Déjà Vu' in 2015, the band solidified their place in the symphonic metal scene, captivating audiences with their distinct sound.

Continued Success and Latest Releases (2018–present)

Sebastien's third album, 'Act of Creation', unleashed in 2018, further showcased their musical prowess and growth. With a lineup change in 2012 bringing in Pavel Dvořák on keyboards and Lukáš Říha on drums, the band continued to push boundaries.

The band's latest album, 'Integrity', released in 2020, cements Sebastien's position as a force to be reckoned with in the progressive and power metal realms, captivating fans with their dynamic compositions and powerful performances.
