Formation and Early Years (2010–2013)

In 2010, the seeds of Morna were planted in the fertile soil of Nova Dubnica, Slovakia. Michal Vlkovic, Jakub Filip, and Robert Ruman came together with a shared vision of creating a unique blend of progressive and melodic death metal. The addition of bassist Tomas Cvecka in 2011 solidified the lineup, paving the way for their debut studio album, 'A Tale of Woe,' which was unleashed upon the world in May 2013.

With 'A Tale of Woe,' Morna showcased their ability to seamlessly weave together elements of melodiousness, progressivity, and heavy riffs. The album received critical acclaim and even earned a nomination for Record of the Year in the Hard & Heavy category at the prestigious Radio Head Awards in 2014.

Rise to Prominence and 'Nuisance' (2014–2015)
