Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, the band quickly established themselves as pioneers of the modern Indian heavy metal movement. With their high-octane blend of 80s metal, NWOBHM, and thrash influences, Kryptos captured the attention of metal fans both locally and internationally.

By 2004, Kryptos released their debut album 'Spiral Ascent,' showcasing their raw energy and technical prowess. The album received critical acclaim and set the stage for the band's future success.

Rise to Prominence and International Success (2006–2012)

In the following years, Kryptos continued to solidify their place in the global metal scene. With the release of albums like 'The Ark of Gemini' in 2008 and 'The Coils of Apollyon' in 2012, the band further honed their signature sound, drawing from influences such as Thin Lizzy, Coroner, and Kreator.

Their relentless dedication to touring paid off when in 2013, Kryptos made history as the first Indian heavy metal band to perform at the prestigious Wacken Open Air festival, solidifying their status as trailblazers in the metal world.

Continued Success and Evolution (2013–Present)

Following their groundbreaking performance at Wacken Open Air, Kryptos continued to push boundaries and captivate audiences with albums like 'Burn Up the Night' in 2016 and 'Afterburner' in 2019. The band's relentless touring schedule across Europe and Asia further cemented their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the metal community.
