Formation and Early Years (2005–2007)

In 2005, Richard Kruspe, the mastermind behind the legendary Rammstein, decided to embark on a new musical journey by forming Emigrate, an industrial metal band, as a side project. The band was born in the vibrant city of New York before making the bold move to the metal capital of Berlin.

During their early years, Emigrate focused on crafting their unique sound, blending heavy industrial elements with Kruspe's signature guitar work. Despite being a studio band, they wasted no time in making their mark on the metal scene.

Rise to Prominence (2007–2013)

By 2007, Emigrate had released their self-titled debut album, showcasing their innovative approach to industrial metal. The record featured a diverse range of musicians contributing to its creation, adding layers of complexity to their sound.
