Formation and Early Years (2007–2010)

In 2007, Nails emerged from the hardcore punk scene in Oxnard, California, founded by the talented frontman Todd Jones, known for his work with Terror and Carry On. Alongside bassist John Gianelli, the trio quickly made a name for themselves with their intense and aggressive sound.

Their debut EP, 'Obscene Humanity', unleashed in 2009, showcased their raw energy and uncompromising attitude. With tracks like 'Confront Them' and 'Lies', Nails set the stage for what would become a relentless musical journey.

Rise to Prominence (2010–2016)

The year 2010 marked a significant milestone for Nails with the release of their debut studio album, 'Unsilent Death'. This record solidified their reputation as one of the most ferocious bands in the hardcore punk scene, with tracks like 'Scum Will Rise' and 'Suffering Soul' leaving a lasting impact on listeners.

Subsequent releases like 'Abandon All Life' in 2013 and 'You Will Never Be One of Us' in 2016 further cemented Nails' position as a force to be reckoned with in the heavy music world. Their relentless touring and explosive live performances only added to their growing fanbase.

Recent Years and Collaborations (2019–2024)

As Nails continued to push boundaries and defy expectations, they embarked on exciting collaborations, such as the split EP with Full of Hell titled 'I Don't Want to Know You' in 2019. This release showcased their willingness to experiment and explore new sonic territories.

In 2024, Nails released an EP featuring the legendary Max Cavalera of Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy, as well as Every Bridge Burning. These collaborations demonstrated Nails' ability to attract and work with some of the biggest names in the metal scene, solidifying their status as innovators in the genre.

Nails' uncompromising approach to music and unrelenting aggression have left an indelible mark on the hardcore punk and metal scenes. Their influential sound continues to inspire bands and fans alike, ensuring that their legacy will endure for years to come.
