Formation and Early Years (2008–2011)

Anthology, the symphonic metal powerhouse hailing from Slovakia, was born in 2008 when guitarist Marián Gonda and ex-bass player Ján Kičín joined forces. With a determination and boldness that belied their young age, Anthology quickly attracted top-tier musicians to their ranks.

In 2011, Anthology unleashed their debut EP, 'Exitus,' showcasing the talents of vocal powerhouse Alexandra Hírešová and the skilled instrumentalists Majo Gonda, Miro Grman, Ján Kičin, Martin Solárik, and Peter Pleva. This early release set the stage for their future success and earned them a spot at the prestigious Terchovský Budzogáň festival.

Rise to Global Prominence (2012–2014)

Despite facing challenges with lineup changes, including multiple departures of singer Alexandra, Anthology persisted and in 2014, they unveiled their breakthrough album, 'The Prophecy.' Mastered by the legendary Roland Grapow, the album propelled Anthology into the global metal scene, garnering attention from fans in Japan, Denmark, Germany, and beyond.

With 'The Prophecy,' featuring a lineup of Raylyn Shayde, Majo Gonda, Miro Grman, Marek Štech, Martin Solárik, and Peter Pleva, Anthology solidified their place as a force to be reckoned with in the symphonic metal realm.

Exploration and Evolution (2015–2016)

In 2016, Anthology continued to push boundaries with the release of their third studio album, 'Angel's Revenge.' This album showcased the band's willingness to experiment with symphonic elements while incorporating more aggressive features, including guest vocals from English death metal vocalist Connor Sanders.

With 'Angel's Revenge,' Anthology demonstrated their growth and versatility, captivating audiences with their dynamic sound and fearless exploration of new musical territories.
