Alcatrazz burst onto the heavy metal scene in 1983, comprised of the talented trio of Graham Bonnet, Jimmy Waldo, and Gary Shea. With their debut album, 'No Parole from Rock 'n' Roll' released the same year, the band quickly gained recognition for hits like 'Island in the Sun' and 'Hiroshima Mon Amour'. The addition of Yngwie Malmsteen on guitar brought a new level of intensity to their sound, before being replaced by the legendary Steve Vai.

Despite several lineup changes, including guitarist Danny Johnson joining the fold, Alcatrazz continued to release music that captivated audiences.
