Guns N’ Roses recently delighted fans and critics by sharing a compilation video showcasing Axl Rose’s memorable on-stage falls. The nearly one-minute clip features fourteen instances of the frontman stumbling during performances, with one clip even showing Rose intentionally orchestrating a tumble. Despite most falls leading to Rose landing flat on the stage, there are moments where he manages to regain his balance after tripping.

According to Louder Sound, out of the band’s extensive career spanning 1,092 shows, Axl Rose has fallen on stage in approximately 1.28% of their performances. This statistic positions Rose among the top rock frontmen for on-stage falls, possibly only surpassed by Dave Grohl. To add a playful touch, the band humorously captioned the video with the title “Guns N’ Roses Greatest Hits” set to the iconic track “Welcome To The Jungle.”

While the band’s motive for sharing the video remains ambiguous, it coincides with their ongoing tour, serving as a light-hearted approach to promoting their upcoming shows. Guns N’ Roses is currently scheduled to perform in various locations, including Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Georgia, Turkey, Portugal, Spain, and more, culminating in a performance at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany this July.
Earlier this year, the band announced the departure of their drummer of nineteen years, Frank Ferrer, describing his exit as amicable. Ferrer, who joined Guns N’ Roses in 2006, succeeded Bryan ‘Brain’ Mantia behind the drum kit. The band has seen a succession of drummers over the years, including Josh Freese, Matt Sorum, Steven Adler, and Rob Gardner.
Isaac Carpenter, the new drummer for Guns N’ Roses, joined the band in March and has already embarked on the Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things Tour. Carpenter’s musical journey began in 1995 as the drummer for Loudermilk, a band that initially paid tribute to Guns N’ Roses. He has since collaborated with various artists, including The Exies, Ours, Loaded, Adam Lambert, and spent a decade with AWOLNATION.
As Guns N’ Roses continues to captivate audiences worldwide with their music and live performances, the band’s lineup changes and humorous glimpses into their on-stage mishaps only add to their enduring legacy in the rock music scene.
