‘KPop Demon Hunters’ has taken the entertainment world by storm, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. This animated film, centered around a demon-fighting pop girl group called HUNTR/X, has shattered records and captivated audiences globally. With over 325 million views in just 91 days, the movie has become Netflix’s most popular film of all time.
One of the film’s standout tracks, “Golden” by HUNTR/X, secured the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a historic achievement for girl groups in the 21st century. Additionally, songs like “Your Idol” and “Soda Pop” performed by the movie’s antagonists, the Saja Boys, also dominated the music charts, reaching No. 1.
The success of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ has transcended the screen, prompting the release of merchandise like the HUNTR/X dolls set by Mattel, which flew off the shelves due to high demand.
