Cattle Decapitation, the San Diego veterans of brutal death metal, haven’t slowed down since unleashing their earth-scorching ninth album, “Terrasite,” in May 2023. Fronted by the ever-outspoken vocalist Travis Ryan and known for their unflinching vegan activism and brutally articulate lyrics about environmental destruction and animal cruelty, the band remains a potent force in the extreme metal scene.
Touring the Terrasite Wastelands
Cattle Decapitation hit the road hard in support of “Terrasite.” The “Chaos & Carnage Tour” co-headlined with fellow death metal outfit Carnifex ripped across North America in early 2024, bringing their signature blend of technical brutality and social commentary to a ravenous audience.
