- New Album on the Horizon: The band is reportedly nearing completion on their new album. In April 2022, Scott Ian confirmed they had songs written and were waiting for the right time to enter the studio. Bassist Frank Bello recently announced the core instrumental foundation (drums, bass, and guitars) is finished, with Joey Belladonna currently recording vocals. There’s hope the album will be released by the end of 2024.
- Touring: Anthrax has a busy touring schedule throughout 2024, including co-headlining tours with Kreator in the UK and Europe, shows at festivals like Louder Than Life and Sonic Temple, and upcoming US and South American dates featuring original bassist Dan Lilker joining the band for the first time in 40 years.
- Recent Release: Their latest release was a cover of the Bad Brains song “The Regulator” featuring Dave Grohl and Charlie Benante, which came out in April 2024.
